誰だろうと人生のある部分には暗闇が潜んでいる。

突然その暗闇と直面した時、あなたはどうしますか？

私はその暗闇から抜け出そうとします。

私はそれを“空”と呼びます。

Does anyone know that there is darkness in one part of life?

What will you do when suddenly you face the darkness?

I am going out of that darkness.

I call it a “sunyata”.

 

Profile

ドイツのFolkwang University of Artsでダンスを学ぶ。 卒業後、Stadtheater Kassel、Folkwang Tanz Studio（FTS）、Bremer Tanztheaterで振付家兼パフォーマーとして活動。また、ドイツをはじめとし、主にヨーロッパを中心に活動し、ピーナ・バウシュ、ラインヒルト・ホフマン、アン・デ・メイ、ウルス・ディートリッヒ、エマニュエル・ガット、ラミー・ベル、テロ・サーリンと作業を行う。

「Budapest International Dance Festival 2013」にて「1st prize」と「審査員賞」、ドイツのBarnes Crossing主催の「Solo Duo Festival 2012」にて「1st prize」を受賞、ドイツ代表として選定された。そして、同年、「デンマーク国際コンクールファイナリスト」として名を上げた。約15年に及ぶプロのキャリアを終え、韓国に拠点を移し、2017年から「jaewondanceproject」芸術監督、「TanztheatreOnes」の代表・指導者として活躍している。

Studied dance at Folkwang University of Arts in Germany. After graduation he worked at the Stadtheater Kassel, Folkwang Tanz Studio(FTS) and Bremer Tanztheater as a choreographer and performer. Also he experienced working with some companies in Europe such as; Pina Bausch, Reinhild Hoffmann, Anne de May, Urs Dietrich, Emanuel Gat, Rami Be er and Tero Saarrinen.

He has won several awards including the 1st prize and the jury in Budapest International Dance Festival 2013 and the 1st prize Solo Duo Festival 2012, organized by Barnes Crossing in Germany. With the entire about 15years professional carrier he decided to come back to Korea and early in 2017 he has co founded jaewondanceproject, TanztheatreOnes and positioned the representative of the company.
