Hong Kong Danve Exchange Invitation
Action (Solo) #
Choreographer: KT YAU
Performer: Helen KO
A duet performed by one dancer, this piece explores the distorted relationship between the institute and an individual. The institutional violence is everywhere...with everyone…here.
Are you part of the institute or not? What is inside your mind when you witness the violence, the institutional violence?
Btw, why so serious? Lol
# The research process of Action (Solo) was supported by the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (Hong Kong) in 2020, it was staged in Eaton Hotel (Hong Kong) and then presented by the Hong Kong Dance Exchange.
